Well, I don't have a ton of time, so instead of working on my novel, I decided to let you all know I'm not dead. really.

I"m participating in NaNoWriMo this year, and so my days have been chock full of writing my fingers off in any spare (and sometimes not so spare) time.

I'm kinda depressed cause the baseball season is officially over. Cards won the series, which I was happy for, cause I developed a severe lack of interest in the Tigers after the whole Kenny Rogers thing and seeing how cocky Craig Monroe is and officially deciding that Ivan Rodriegez is creepy (any man who's nickname is Pudge...). I also kinda started liking the Cards, Jeff Weaver rocks guys, seriously. And I like his hair, I think that's going to be my next haircut. Jeff Weaver hair. :) Yes I"m serious.

See? It rocks!

And if I was a guy, I'd dye my goatee like Scott Spiezio

Naw, now I'm kidding, but I did think the red goatee was kinda cute. (beter than any facial hair the braves get. *coughFrancoeurcough* =]

And, finally a baseball player shorter than Gilly! That one was kinda hard to cope with but he's a whole inch shorter! And he drove away in a really hot car, a corvette. It was awesome. David Eckstein rocks guys, and he's short to boot!
Ok nevermind the pic I was going to put, I just realized he looked really creepy in, and you can really tell he's balding...

My dislike for Yadier Molina slowly melted away, he was fun to watch (after of course you get over the way he looks...*eye roll*, especially game 5, cause he started growing his goatee back, making him look less like a girl, but then I noticed in the rally pics that he's got both his ears pierced. -_- this guy needs help. : |

I mean, come on, Yadi! Actually he looks better in his catchers outfit. *poof*

Speaking of Inge - he stinks y'all. I didn't like him at all... *gag*

Alrighty well my eggs are about to be ready so I must go eat, then it's off the violin. joy. -_- abounding joy.

Tigers and the Cards, huh?

great, now I have to decide who I want to win.....

Well, the homers that won the LCS's were made by Ordonez (Tigers) and Yadi Molina (Cards)

Ordonez - Has really weird hair...

Yadi Molina - Looks like a girl.

I'll decide later...I think I'm leaning towards the Cards.

Yay I get to see Jeff Weaver pitch again!

Game 7.

And I havn't fully decided who I want to win hm.....

I want the Mets to win so they can get killed by the Tigers just because they're the Mets, but then I really want them to win so they can win the World-Series. Just for David Wright and Jose Reyes - they're so fun to watch. I also want the Mets to win because they've played some great ball this year - yes I know they stopped us from getting 15 in a row, but hey, they still played great.

(Not for Paul LoDuca though, but just because he was the only guy in front of Brian McCann in the All-Star lineup, so Brian didn't get to play too much...actually, LoDuca's a great player and so I wouldn't wish that they wouldn't win just because Brian didn't get to play to much (I promise I'm not that crazy...) . )

Anyways *cough*, back to game 7

I want the Cards to win because we can say that it's all our fault, cause if we had lost that game to the 'stros, they wouldn't be where they are, but then also because I want to get to see Jeff Weaver pitch again. Let me tell you, he was fun to watch - especially when he got really ticked off. But then I don't want them to win because I get really tired of watching their girl-faced catcher. Seriously, Yadier Molina needs a reality check - and for someone to throw away his tweazers. You can tell he plucks his eyebrows. He's not so bad when he has a goatee, but when he's got it shaved off (ahem, like right now), he looks like a girl with a shaved head (think Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta), except for a bit different (heck, he's Puerto Rican) and less, scary, and evil looking.

Ok, well I have to go now, so y'all have fun, and watch the game tonight or something!

Normally, things like this wouldn't affect me. Normally, I'd say ok, wow, and go on to the next news story. But since baseball has come into my life with such a big punch this past year, I can't. Even though he was a Yankees pitcher, he's still a Major League Baseball player. He and Tim Hudson were teammates on the Oakland A's. He left a wife and a 6 year old when he crashed into the side of a building after malfunctions on his plane. So, I guess this has to hit home a little more than normal. Because I'm not what normal was to me last year.

So, I figured I'd update real quick, nothing long, but something long is coming for all of you to groan over...a Braves post! I'll kinda critique the season, some of the players, post some pics, kinda like my review of the Olympics last February.

So, Jeff Francoeur is getting married! That one is hard to graple with, considering the fact that he and Brian McCann stay up until 2 am these days playing video games, but I am very happy for them. He proposed in the cutest way too...from the MLB Website...

"Mr. Romantic: Jeff Francoeur may play the game of baseball with the ferocity that once brought him so much success on the football field. But when it came time for him to propose Sunday night, the Braves right fielder showed he has a tender side.

Francoeur took his long-time girlfriend, Catie McCoy, to Atlanta's historic Fox Theatre to see Beauty and the Beast. They arrived early for the show and with a staged ticket mixup, they went to the balcony to get the matter resolved.

When they arrived, one of McCoy's favorite country songs by Sara Evans began playing. At that time, Francoeur dropped to his knee and proposed.

"I totally surprised her," Francoeur said. "She had no clue."

Francoeur, who has known McCoy since they were third graders in suburban Atlanta, said the wedding will likely be held in November of next year. "
